Privacy Policy

The short version
We collect only what we need to run the service. We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything beyond making The Draft Pool work.
What we collect
- Email address — used for account authentication and, if you opt in, pick turn notifications. Nothing else.
- Username — the name you choose when signing up. Shown to other players in pools you join.
- Pool activity — the pools you join, draft picks you make, and team names you set. This is the core data that makes the leaderboard work.
We don't collect your real name, phone number, location, or any payment information. The site has no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics, and no ad targeting.
Who handles your data
Two third-party services process your data on our behalf:
- Supabase — stores your account information and all pool data in a hosted PostgreSQL database. Supabase is SOC 2 compliant and used by thousands of production applications.
- Resend — sends pick notification emails if you have them enabled. Your email address is passed to Resend only when an email is being sent.
Neither service receives your data for their own purposes. They act as infrastructure providers, not data partners.
Email notifications
Pick notifications are opt-in and can be turned off at any time in Settings. We only send them when it's your turn to draft. We don't send marketing emails, newsletters, or any other unsolicited messages.
Deleting your data
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@thedraftpool.com. We'll remove your account within 30 days.

Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies. If you clear your cookies you'll be logged out.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how we handle data in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We won't retroactively change how previously collected data is used.
